Häagen-Dazs decided to upgrade their packaging ahead of spring this year and show it off at the mighty cool Bliss Lounge in Milpark on Tuesday afternoon. Although I doubt that they picked that date knowing that it will be snowing in certain parts of Jozi, I loved the irony. Given the weather conditions, one thought it would be a quiet event with less attendees. Alas, all the “likers of things” were there to have a scoop or two of ice cream despite not being able to feel their toes.
Besides unveiling what their packaging will be like in future, we got an opportunity to be pampered by Mangwanani messieurs’s and instead of a hand massage I decided to be brave and get a neck and shoulder massage just to undo those knots caused by my bread and butter hustle. Despite my efforts to hide my nipple stand, my pic made it to twitter with tweeps making fun of me about wearing a “boob tube”. I’d like to see them showing off their boobies while its snowing outside! Suckers! As to why Häagen-Dazs decided to rejuvinate their packaging Lord knows, as far as I’m concerned, my favourite ice cream is still anyone they sell, as long as it has chocolate, I’m good!
