It may not be the Miami winter conference but Vodacom has paired some of the biggest names in House Music with the best local acts and DJ’s in what is expected to be the biggest extravaganza the African continent is yet to see. Louie Vega, Ralf Gum alongside Black Coffee, DJ Fresh, DJ Tira, Liquideep, DJ Christos and Vinny Da Vinci will be performing at a not to be missed lifetime experience.
The big doo will be held at the Orlando stadium in Soweto which hosted the soccer World Cup opening concert last year. The 1st of April 2011 is expected not to be an April fools joke as Vodacom has pulled out all the stops with technical coordination that is normally reserved for event ceremonies and awards shows. The highly choreographed show will include moving staging parts with more than 100 LED panels, a double sized high definition video wall, synchronized lighting specifically designed to work with the architecture of the stadium, massive bass heavy sound and multi-layered pyrotechnics.
Not only will there be just grammy award winners performing in the country via Louie Vega, DJ Rocco, the Musical Maestro Greg Maloka, Tim White and DJ Strat3rgy are also set to musical lovers into a frenzy on the night. Performances by Louie Vega will also be streamed across Capetown, P.E and Durban via satellite, more details to come. http://www.facebook.com/#!/VodacomUnlimited
