Today I am bringing you the final edition of men’s fashion and I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I did. I love a man in a suit and I am pretty sure most of you ladies do too. To end this edition on a very high and jucy note I have decided to put together a list of SA’s top ten celebrity men who look good in a suit. This is not just a list, we look at who they are and what they are famous for and why we think they deserve to be on this list.
Sizwe Dhlomo became the first ever MTV base VJ in October 2005, during the first season of MTV base World Chart Express. At 21 Sizwe gave up a promising career as a computer programmer to step into the limelight with MTV Base World Chart Express and soon demonstrated a combination of verbal agility and a warm and attractive on-screen presence which impressed the judges. Since winning the contest Dhlomo has become a household name, he is now YFM Dj and entrepreneur. We love him because he is one of the sexiest men in Mzansi and the scar on the side of his cheek makes him look like a bad boy. He is physique can make any good girl go bad.
Sizwe Dhlomo:
Lunga Shabalala- his claim to fame was when he won Selimathunzi presenter search. He is also model and brand ambassador of Calvin Klein SA. He was recently chosen as U.C.O.F (United Colors Of Fashion) ambassador. It’s a New York based NGO that uses proceeds from the world of fashion to help hospices fight the HI virus and help aspiring designers break the international market. All I can say about this young man is that he makes both young and old women go gaga over him. No wonder he was nominated as the sexiest men in the You Spectacular Awards.
Lunga:
Stevel Marc is not South African born but we can claim him because….well we just can. He was born in Portland, Jamaica, and was discovered by Deiwight Peters of Saint International Modeling Agency at Titchfield High School shortly before Stevel Marc was honored as Mr. Titchfield 2000. This opened numerous doors of opportunities with international modeling contracts jetting him off to London, New York and South Africa and parts of Europe. He successfully became a recognizable face having done major campaigns for Guess? , Coca-Cola, Revlon (Featuring Halle Berry and Eva Mendes) Lancetti, Jet, Mr. Price along with editorials in FHM magazine, Elle magazine, Hype magazine, Wanted magazine, Blaque magazine and GQ magazine. We love the fact that he is from Jamaica, he is tall dark and gorgeous.
Stoan Seate Stoan (real name Serai Seate) is a South African kwaito singer, music producer, actor and television presenter best known for his part in the highly successful kwaito band, Bongo Maffin, since 1996. Stoan released his solo album “The Heart of Stoan” in 2008. He has also been on the small screen- he played a role of a primary school teacher Pule in Soul Buddyz and he is also a presenter on a music show AfroCafe’. We love him because he is brilliant on stage and he makes Setswana sound sexy any day.
Lungile Radu Lungile Radu is a South African actor and television presenter best known for hosting the Channel O shows Kasi 101 and O-Boma. In 2007 he made his screen acting debut in the leading role of “rich boy” Sibusiso Vilakazi on e.tv’s soapie Rhythm City. This year he created, directed, produced and starred in the Vuzu reality series Forever Young, which follows him and fellow actors Siya Ngwekazi and Thomas Gumede as they “follow their hearts and live in the moment in pursuit of their dreams”. We love him because he’s got swag that goes on for years, he is a good guy with no scandals. We ladies love his lips!
Andile Ncube is a TV personality and producer best known for hosting the Mzansi Friday night music show LIVE. 2008 Urban Brew, production house to the show, announced that Andile would be leaving as presenter to move into the role of executive producer. From behind the scenes he has been at it at again as SABC sports presenter. I think his dreadlocks looked good on him and made him look more mature. Now with his dreadlocks off he looks younger and we love him because he is still looks dashing as ever. He is also smart and humble, perfect guy to take home to meet the parents.
Kaizer Motaung Jnr is the son of South African soccer legend and Kaizer Chiefs founder Kaizer Motaung. Kaizer Moutaung junior used to play for English giants Chelsea fc in the junior squad. Motaung’s goals overshadowed the higher profile players at Kaizer Chiefs this season and took ‘Junior’ out of the shadow of his illustrious father. Motaung’s 12 goals have put him second in the standings for the 2006–07 Castle Premier Soccer League’s Top Goal-scorer of the Year Award and on the periphery of selection to future Bafana Bafana squads. We love him because his reputation is still untainted and he is very good looking especially in a suit.

His claim to fame was in a famous local soapie Isidingo as Dunisane Thusong, then he moved to Top Billing, South Africa’s premiere lifestyle magazine show which he starred on from 2004 to 2009. We love him because he is considered a style icon after being voted SA’s most stylish media personality in the SA style awards and SA’s most stylish actor by readers of YOU magazine for 2005. He has also been voted as one of GQ’s top ten best dressed men in South Africa.

Best known for his role as Derek Nyathi in Isidingo (1998 to 2001), he currently plays title character Jacob Makhubu in the television series Jacob’s Cross. We love him because he has been in the industry for years and he still looks the same. Talk about aging gracefully, how old is he by the way?
AKA real name Kiernan Forbes. The 24-year-old star says his days in hip hop group Entity helped him to build a solid foundation for his career. We love him for his sleek and bad boy attitude. He is very stylish, he reminds me of US hip pop artist Kanye West. He always looks good at the red carpet and he is also a musical genius. Last year he dominated the Metro FM awards by winning three accolades Best produced album, Best hip pop and Best new comer. He is also a two time SAMA award winner.
