One of my old favourite brands Wrangler held a launch party at the Turbine Hall in Newtown this past Thursday. The brand was famous in the 90′s and I remember I used like their rock star vibe until they vanished when Levi made a comeback. The brand itself was established in 1947 and although before the mini fashion show some denim trend speaker tried to explain how the brand started, he lost me in those 1900s. The fashion show itself was a great exhibition for Wrangler. I see bootleg jeans are not about to go out of fashion despite low-rise pants (AKA 3 quarter) being deemed fashionable.
With Jozi playing hosts to three other events, a decent crowd came out in support of Wrangler although it could have been the fact that they had the same agenda as me which is, score free jeans. Unfortunately none of us got that, yes not even a tee but we got to drink and be merry before the tab ran out at 10pm. Whaaaat?! Alcohol is one way of beating the cold winter weather, please don’t judge. Before people got red-eyes I managed to take a few shots of the popular kids.
